Christmas in Paris 2008: La Grande Roue
This is the first in a series of posts about Christmas in Paris 2008.
La Grand Roue is the giant ferris wheel that towers over the Place Concorde. The views of the city from it are incomparable, with one side facing the Tuileries and the other facing the Champs Elysees. The fluorescent white lights contrasting the black night sky is so dramatic. I love the shot with the obelisk in foreground.

I look forward to meeting you on my tours and it will be my pleasure and delight to show you my insiders Paris.
